At the end of April I’ll be in US once again, this time in Denver (CO) for the third edition of Storage Field Day.

Tech Field Days

Tech Field Days are a series of meetings arranged by Stephen Foskett, a well known blogger, community influencer and respected independent IT professional. The primary goal of these events is to bring together a selected number of independent delegates (which are mostly bloggers) from all around the world and tech startups and, sometimes, primary vendors. The vendors are there to show their products while the delegates are very eager to know about the latest technology and news to share with their readers. In short, the success of this event comes from the fact that it’s a clear advantage to be able to partecipate.

SFD3

I’ll be at this three day event with many delegates from US and Europe (two from Italy! Luca Dell’oca is the other one), many of them are pretty famous in the bloggers’ community and I’m sure that there will be plenty of opportunities to share ideas and comment on what we are going to see.
I don’t have the full list of sponsoring companies, a couple of them are still secreted by the organizer. But trust me, the ones that are already public are worth the trip: Avere, Cisco, Cleversafe, Marvell, NetApp, Nexgen, Pernixdata, SanDisk, Starboard and two more!

Bottom line

Juku, in the person of Fabio (my former colleague) has already attended some of the past tech field days but this is the first time for me… Really, I can’t wait!
I will tweet from there using the #SFD3 hashtag, and I’ll have my recording gear with me for interviews and other fun stuff that I’ll share with you. Stay tuned!

Disclaimer: I was invited to this meeting by Foskett services and they paid for travel and accommodation, I have not been compensated for my time and am not obliged to blog. Furthermore, the content is not reviewed, approved or published by any other person than the Juku team.
