Fabio and myself spent two days in Sefton Park, UK for the second Bloggers Day held by Hitachi Data Systems. This event gathered twelve bloggers from Europe and US with the goal to share the company’s vision and strategy with bloggers and influencers alike and to collect information from people who live and breath IT every day.

It’s been a very interesting event that gave us the opportunity to appreciate the HDS vision on storage, their strategy and their path to the future of technology stacks and the Cloud.

The ideas are many and I still have to find the time to share them on this blog, but in the meantime, I wrote a couple of articles for The Register with a day-to-day summary of what happened in these two days, you can find them both clicking on the links below:

HDS and its awfully good VMware integration

HDS private cloud storage product is ‘beautiful’

Disclaimer: HDS invited me at this event and paid for travel and accommodation but I’m not under any obligation to write any material about this event.
