It’s all set. I’ll be landing on Sunday the 25th in Las Vegas and attending Amazon AWS RE:Invent for the first time.
The event is massive in size and dispersed in several locations, which is odd and will make things quite complicated, especially if you need to switch location between meetings or sessions. But I also have to say that this is my first attendance and I don’t really know how things will work out.
My goal is to meet up with as many people as possible. I’m not really interested in the super technical sessions and I’m still trying to figure out the best way to take advantage of the sheer amount of sessions and networking opportunities… fully aware that I won’t be able to do everything. And I also want to walk the show floor as much as I can to find new vendors and get a grasp of their ideas and solutions.
