I’m packing my bag for a couple of amazing trips. My first stop will be in Frankfurt for one of the most interesting IT events in Europe: Powering the cloud/SNW Europe. The week after I’ll fly to San Jose to attend the second edition of HDS’ influencer summit. Actually, they are going to be a couple of busy weeks.
I consider PTC/SNWE the most interesting (and important) european event for storage. It’s backed by SNIA, and there are tons of opportunities to talk and share experiences with vendors, end users, analysts and bloggers.
This year, I was also invited to attend Tape Summit Europe: an extraordinary opportunity to meet tape vendors and get a clearer picture of what we can expect from the future of this 50 years old storage media: is it slowly dying or alive and kicking?
And, last but not least, there will be the usual #storagebeers meetup, you can’t miss it!
The week after next I’ll travel to San Jose for the second HDS’ influencers day. The travel is going to be longer than the event itself but I already know that the content is well worth it.
