Ready, steady, go!
Tomorrow it will be VMworld time, and I’m full of expectations, aren’t you? Not just only for the VMware stuff but also for all the events and presentations from partners and third parties.
VMworld, in a few years, has become one of the most important events in the IT industry and, with the raise of virtualization in storage and Networking, it will be even more important in the future.
From my point of view, one of the most interesting events of the week is Tech Field Day Extra. This is a special edition of Tech Field Day, an event which I always like to attend: delegates are bloggers and the presentations are mostly technical and full of details. It’s an opportunity to go deep into technology and understand how it works. The interaction between presenters, delegates and other folks all around the internet is the key factor for its success. This is why all the sessions are broadcasted live and you can post your questions on twitter using the #EVMWU14 hashtag.
This is a 3 day event, I’ll attend day 2 and 3, but I’ll try to cover the first day too (especially the presentation from DataGravity).
